The major goal of AIPS++ is to provide a package for calibration, editing, image formation, image enhancement, and analysis of images and other astronomical data. It includes C++, scripting, GUIs, libraries, toolkits and applications, was designed by a team of astronomers and programmers and developed by an international consortium of observatories.
